Corporate support
Join us as we work towards a world in which fewer families are traumatised by the experience of birth.
A small charity like the BTA is a great choice for corporate support, because a little goes a long way. You know that if you give to us, your donation will go directly to helping parents and families.
The Birth Trauma Association is popular among staff too – if you ask around your employees, you’ll almost certainly be surprised at the number who have experienced traumatic birth, or have a family member who experienced traumatic birth.
Partnering with us not only allows us to reach more families, raise more awareness, and make more impact – it shows your staff that you care. We have a wealth of resources and training materials available, a board of experts, and can host training sessions for managers and staff.
There are lots of ways that businesses and organisations can support us:
Add us to your payroll giving scheme
Nominate us as your charity of the year
Hold a fundraising event – these can include things like family fun days, skydiving, sponsored runs, tugs-of-war, bingo nights and company picnics
Donate a small percentage of sales during Birth Trauma Awareness Week (held in July) or on International Women’s Day (8 March) to the BTA
Create a product to support the BTA and donate a percentage of every sale

“BTA provide the safe, compassionate and empathetic space and point for advice and consultation that is missing – and has been missing – from NHS maternity services for too long. BTA are a community of support where compassion and help for mothers, children and families is at the centre of everything they do.”
